Handmade carving. The cross is made of pear wood and varnished to protect the natural wood look.
Cross dimensions: 47cm high, 26 cm wide, 1.5 cm thick ( 18.5" high, 10.2" wide, 0.75" thick).
The plot of the cross: the crucifixion of Christ at the head of the Holy Trinity. Under the cross is Mary, the mother of Christ and Mary Magdalene. On the other side is Joseph of Arimathea and John, the beloved disciple of Christ. Two angels pray over Christ. In the lower part of the cross is the image of St. Nicholas.
The cross is arranged by the owners of the house in a prominent place on the wall or above the entrance to the house. It is the testimony of the Christian family, about faith and hospitality to the guests of the house.
